Never again join a photo or writing contest that involves amassing FB likes on your entry, even if it says that the Facebook likes are only .20% of the total score. That recent event just proves THAT is just bull crap. FB likes as a criterion for judging simply diminishes the value of your hard-born work.


As a second note, I shall not employ a contest on this blog that requires people to like my page (yay!). It makes the idea of giving away more sincere, don’t you think?

  2. Anonymous commenter, were you in the same contest as I was? 🙂 Hehe. I hate it when a contest says the FB likes form only 1/10 of criteria and it turns out the person with the most horrifying entry wins because he has the most number of FB likes. Yep, total B.S.
